Inflation in Venezuela has caused several problems of basic services, child malnutrition, the lack of food and medicine and, above all, the resilience that Venezuelans have had to develop to move forward.
In the face of the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela and the direct impact of inflation in the country, the Latin America Liberal Network (Relial) and Cedice Libertad released a documentary on the consequences of inflation on the daily lives of Venezuelans. This documentary not only addresses the complexity of Venezuela's economic, political and social crisis but also humanizes the experiences of those who live daily with the ravages of rampant inflation. Faced with a complex monetary phenomenon, Relial has chosen to focus on the economic explanation of the problem as well as on the humanitarian consequences.
This film displays diverse characters who tell the story of a country that has been in a critical situation for years: a sweets seller, a school teacher, a doctor and street traders are some of the protagonists who shape the country's complicated landscape.
